Five-Year Lithium Battery System Limited Warranty

ELECTRA GSE provides limited warranty coverage for its lithium-powered GSE conversions and zero-hour electric rebuilds. Every ELECTRA GSE unit is rebuilt in our Las Vegas, Nevada workshop with a focus on quality, reliability, serviceability, and real-world airport performance.

This limited warranty is designed to protect customers against defects in materials or workmanship in the systems, components, and conversion work provided by ELECTRA GSE.

Two-Year / 2,000-Hour Electric Conversion Limited Warranty

ELECTRA GSE provides a two-year / 2,000-hour limited warranty on ELECTRA-installed electric conversion components against defects in materials or workmanship. Coverage begins on the delivery date of the completed unit and continues for two years or 2,000 operating hours, whichever comes first.

This warranty applies to the electric conversion systems installed by ELECTRA GSE, including covered components such as the electric drive system, charger, wiring, controls, conversion hardware, and related installed components supplied as part of the ELECTRA GSE conversion.

This warranty does not apply to defects or failures in the original reclaimed chassis, frame, body, axle, steering system, braking system, suspension, tires, wheels, upholstery, or other legacy components unless specifically replaced or supplied by ELECTRA GSE as part of the conversion scope.

Five-Year / 5,000-Hour Lithium Battery System Limited Warranty

ELECTRA GSE provides a five-year / 5,000-hour limited warranty on the lithium battery system supplied by ELECTRA GSE. Coverage begins on the delivery date of the completed unit and continues for five years or 5,000 operating hours, whichever comes first.

The lithium battery system warranty covers the battery pack and battery management system against defects in materials or workmanship. During the warranty period, ELECTRA GSE will repair or replace covered defective battery system components, subject to the terms, exclusions, and limitations of this limited warranty.

All other electric drivetrain and conversion components outside the lithium battery system are covered under the two-year / 2,000-hour electric conversion limited warranty.

Zero-Hour Electric Rebuilds

ELECTRA GSE zero-hour electric rebuilds are built using proven reclaimed GSE platforms that are stripped, refinished, and rebuilt with new lithium electric systems. The term “zero-hour” refers to the new ELECTRA-installed electric system and conversion components, not necessarily every legacy structural or mechanical component of the original platform.

Because each rebuild begins with a reclaimed platform, warranty coverage is focused on the new lithium battery system, electric conversion components, and workmanship performed by ELECTRA GSE.

Customer-Supplied Equipment Conversions

For customer-supplied GSE conversions, ELECTRA GSE warrants the lithium battery system, electric conversion components, and installation workmanship provided by ELECTRA GSE. ELECTRA GSE does not warrant pre-existing defects, wear, damage, or failures related to the customer-supplied equipment platform unless those components are replaced by ELECTRA GSE as part of the agreed conversion scope.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that supplied equipment is suitable for conversion unless ELECTRA GSE is specifically engaged to inspect and approve the platform before conversion work begins.

Warranty Coverage and Exclusions

This limited warranty covers failures caused by defects in materials or workmanship in covered ELECTRA GSE-supplied components and conversion work.

This limited warranty does not cover failures, damage, or claims caused by:

• Normal wear and tear

• Abuse, misuse, neglect, or improper operation

• Improper handling, storage, charging, or maintenance

• Accidental damage or collision

• Acts of God, fire, flooding, freezing, submersion, explosion, or environmental damage

• Unauthorized service, repairs, modifications, or replacement parts

• Use of unapproved chargers, software, controllers, or accessories

• Damage during transportation, shipping, or trailer transit

• Operation outside approved duty cycles, specifications, or intended GSE use

• Pre-existing defects or wear in reclaimed or customer-supplied platforms

• Cosmetic damage that does not affect operation

• Damage caused by loose, corroded, altered, or improperly maintained hardware

• Tampering with the lithium battery system, battery management system, controller, or protected electrical components

Wear Items and Consumables

This limited warranty does not cover normal wear items or consumables, including but not limited to:

• Tires and wheels

• Brakes

• Suspension components

• Steering wear components

• Bushings and bearings

• Upholstery and seat surfaces

• Paint wear, scratches, dents, and cosmetic surfaces

• Lubricants, sealants, bulbs, lamps, fuses, and circuit breakers

• Any other items normally expected to wear during regular use

Battery Coverage Exclusions

Lithium battery system coverage excludes damage or failure caused by:

• Overcharging, undercharging, or improper charging

• Use of non-approved chargers or charging software

• Improper storage or long-term storage outside recommended state-of-charge ranges

• Abuse, neglect, impact, fire, flooding, freezing, submersion, or wreckage

• Unauthorized opening, servicing, modification, or tampering with the battery pack

• Use of unauthorized battery management software, motor controllers, chargers, or related systems

• Installation, removal, or repair performed by anyone other than ELECTRA GSE or an approved technician

Remedy

The exclusive remedy under this limited warranty is repair or replacement of defective covered components, at ELECTRA GSE’s discretion. Warranty repairs must be approved by ELECTRA GSE before work is performed.

Replacement parts may be new, remanufactured, or functionally equivalent components. Any repaired or replaced component remains covered only for the remainder of the original applicable warranty period.

Limitations of Warranty

ELECTRA GSE is not responsible for incidental, consequential, indirect, or special damages, including but not limited to transportation costs, rental equipment, downtime, loss of use, lost revenue, lost profits, labor not approved by ELECTRA GSE, or personal time.

This limited warranty does not cover claims of defective design unless expressly required by applicable law. Any implied warranties are limited to the same duration as the applicable written warranty coverage described above. Some states may not allow certain limitations, so these limitations may not apply in all cases.
